Location and Transport MLC School is conveniently located 11 kilometres from the city of Sydney and has ready access to bus, train and expressway links. Strathfield and Burwood stations are an easy seven minute walk from the School. Students are entitled to free travel on both Private buses and Government buses and trains when travelling to and from school with the exception of the buses owned by the school or hired by the School. Applications for Government Bus and Train/Private Bus passes for travel to and from MLC School are available, however, you do not have to re-submit an application if there are no changes to travel arrangements. The bus companies issue new passes at the beginning of each year. Students will only be allowed one route for free travel between home and school only. Students must get on and off the trains at the stations stipulated on the passes.
