Why choose MLC School?
Our academic results are astounding, our endeavours in the sporting arena and creative art stages are profound, but perhaps what sets MLC School apart the most, is our girls.
The MLC School girl is daring and brave. She pushes societal, academic and creative boundaries. She challenges the perceptions of what a woman can and should do. She embraces her responsibility to contribute to the world, both actively and positively.
Principal Ms Lisa Moloney says MLC School girls come from across Sydney and reflect the variety of cultural and faith backgrounds that are evident in our global city.
“Our mission to 'educate young women to be fearless thinkers with moral courage and compassion to be agents of change in their own lives and the lives of others', is as relevant and necessary as ever,” Ms Moloney says.

Is my daughter eligible for the Principal’s Scholarship?
The Principal’s Scholarship is a scholarship available to girls entering Year 10 in 2024. This opportunity is open to new applicants only and covers up to full remission of tuition fees for the three years the student attends the School. It is open to girls who will flourish in the MLC School environment; who will embrace the wide-ranging opportunities on offer at the School, both academically and in co-curricular endeavours; who will support the ethos of the Uniting Church, and most importantly, who dare to be more. In particular, it provides an MLC School education to those who would not generally be in a position to support the fees at the School.

At MLC School, the Year 7 to Year 11 Scholarships will benefit students wanting to pursue their Higher School Certificate (HSC) OR an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. MLC School has an outstanding reputation for IB results, achieving the highest level nationally in the IB Diploma Programme in 2020 and 2021.
