The MLC School Aquatic Centre and the MLC School Gym are housed within the MLC School Sports Complex. All the staff from the Sports Department and the Aquatic Centre have their offices here and as training begins early every morning and finishes into the evening there is always a great deal of activity in the complex. The Gymnasium is the home of our indoor basketball and netball courts, and is the venue for our Gymnastics Program. Two large air-conditioned teaching studios offer the girls a Cardio room with the latest ergonomic rowing, bike and treadmill machines and a gym room for aerobics, yoga and pilates and for first aid and resuscitation classes. Members of the wider community are very welcome to join any or all of our after school hours Fitness Programs such as Pilates, Yoga and Aerobics. The mezzanine gallery on the first floor allows spectators to simultaneously view the on-court matches and gymnastics while also watching events in the pool. The amenities area provides toilets, security lockers, and warm showers with large cubicle dressing area, hair dryers and mirrors. |
