It is MLC School 's intention to provide the best possible facilities to meet the needs of every girl at MLC, across as diverse a range of opportunities and interest areas as she may wish to explore in her learning.

In line with our philosophy of embracing innovation and providing a learning environment that encourages excellence in all areas, the MLC School Council is committed to developing state of the art facilities that are flexible, student centred and have very high levels of community use.

The Master Plan for MLC School envisages a School of the Future where twenty-first century learners have a new learning model to help them learn about learning. The model operates from engagement and offers learners great flexibility.

Broadly speaking, students need to be able to learn in teams, collaboratively as a class, a section, a whole community or alone.

Our master planners are currently working on how we can make our campus more user friendly; finding ways we can give learners the best access to mentors, facilitators and inspiration; deciding what new facilities are most important; and how can we build in flexibility to make MLC a true School of the Future.

Building a Better Future - Our Master Plan

MLC School engaged expert planners and architects, including internationally renowned and awarding winning architect Mr Ed Lippman of Lippman Associates, to create a Master Plan for our School. This Master Plan identifies how we need to change our School buildings so that we can continue to offer our students the contemporary learning environment that they need to succeed.

The Master Plan also identifies how we can improve the traffic flow around our School to enhance the safety of the girls and reduce the congestion for our neighbours and the wider community.

If you would like to know more about our plans feel free to contact The Principal, Mrs Barbara Stone, by email or by telephoning the School between 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday on Tel: 9747 1266.
