Discover all that the Performing Arts have to offer. Workshops are offered during each of the school holidays for primary, middle and senior school students.
Courses range from dance and drama classes that promote self
expression and enjoyment, through to more specialty workshops
for gifted students dedicated to Performing Arts excellence.
Our workshops are open to all and if you’ve been before come back for more because no two workshops are ever the same..

Specific details will be published to this site closer to the commencement of each School Holiday period.
Participants will work alongside Performing Arts professionals to discover their own vocal, physical, expressive and artistic abilities. Workshops will include theatre games, dance, voice, movement, storytelling, mask, playbuilding, mime, theatresports, film, clowning, physical theatre, juggling, stilt walking, hoola hoops, slapstick, magic singing, design, performance skills, script writing, acting for camera, prop and scene construction, puppetry, script writing, physical theatre and much more! All these skills will be utilised in the creation of a dance and drama production performed on our final
afternoon for family and friends.

| Magic & Mayhem, Witchcraft & Wizardry. An imaginative and spell binding five day workshop that explores the creation of all things. Harry through acting, charms, improvisation, spells and movement! |
| Roll up, Roll up, come and be part of our imaginative and creative five day workshop under the Circus big top! This is your chance to run away and learn everything from aerial work to balancing to clowning to balloon sculpting. |
| Calling all Princes, Princesses, Fairy Godmothers,Genies, Wolves, Witches and Warlocks…this is your time to create your very own fantasy landscape. Using popular characters and storylines we will devise our very own theatrical fairytale. |
| Showtime is an outstanding opportunity for primary aged students to work with an industry professional to discover what makes theatre work! Each participant will be encouraged and extended in all areas of the Performing Arts as they create a full length production in a mere 5 days. |
| Our exciting MUSICAL THEATRE five day intensive explores everything an actor needs to create a truly great Disney role! Whether it be Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Simba or even Mickey Mouse this workshop will have you singing, dancing and acting up an imaginative creation! |
| This workshops opens the door to the world of Narnia. Join us as we create our own kingdom. Play your favourite character and devise your very own interpretation of the great classic tale. |
| Act your way through the wacky world of Roald Dahl’s plays, poems and stories! Participants will extend their acting skills for stage and screen by working as part of a small ensemble on a script. |
| Make your very own magic as we imaginatively create our own show of illusion. Role-play will see you become a self-created magician in a mere 24 hours! |

These December Holidays The Studio is extending its regular vacation care holiday workshops with a program that offers you the chance to work with a multi-disciplinary artist to craft a program to suit your individual needs.
Primary, Middle & Senior School students (as well as Adults) have the valuable opportunity to not only work alongside leading specialists to enhance their creative talents but to also cultivate their lateral thinking, cognitive flexibility, motivation, presentation skills, freedom of expression and innovation.
Our specialist tutors and directors come from a diverse and experience backgrounds (working everywhere from NIDA to cutting edge G&T learning institutes to Royal Shakespeare Company to Hermann International: Whole Brain education to AFTRS – Australian Film, Television & Radio School to Learning & Development Departments within Australia’s leading corporations to Bell Shakespeare to Neuro Linguistic Programming conferences to London’s National Theatre to psychometric testing centres).

Intensive Performing Arts Workshop for Middle School Students
An enriching series of specialty workshops that allow participants to discover how to be expressive through
experiencing the creative arts and discovering the challenges of creating theatre and film.

| Become a star of the small screen as your rehearse and shoot Australian soapie scripts! Extend your acting to meet the demands of producing daily drama...it isn’t as easy as it looks but it is lots of fun to plunge into the perils of modern melodrama! |
