The MLC School Policy Manual contains administrative guidelines developed where necessary to provide procedures and expectations that complement the policies and regulations of the School and provide direction to students, staff and other members of the MLC Community.

MLC School policies, codes and procedures are prepared in consultation with the MLC School Council, The MLC School Management Team and the various committees and research groups within the School who take responsibility for areas of planning and procedure.

Policy development in a modern, forward-looking school is a dynamic, on-going process; new policies must be developed to respond to new issues and, as situations change, so must policies be revised.

While committees prepare policy in draft form, the Principal of MLC School, Mrs Barbara Stone, must approve.

The Manual is divided into seven sections: Professional Conduct, Teaching and Learning, Conduct and Discipline, Student Welfare, Administrative, Information Technology, Occupational Health and Safety.

A copy of the MLC School Policy Manual is available to MLC School Community Members via the MLC School Community Website or to other interested people from the Community Relations Office.

MLC School 's Privacy Policy Executive Summary

MLC School is bound by the National Privacy Principles contained in the Commonwealth Privacy Act. This policy outlines how MLC School uses and manages personal information provided to or collected by it.

The School may, from time to time, review and update this Privacy Policy to take account of new laws and technology, changes to the school's operations and practices and to make sure it remains appropriate to the changing school environment.

The MLC School Occupational Health and Safety Policy, in line with The NSW Occupational Health and Safety Act 2000 aims to protect the health, safety and welfare of people at MLC School by laying down general requirements that must be met at MLC School.
